Children from Vasilați participate for the first time in a national robotics competition
After more than 150 years since its founding, Constantin Brancoveanu Vasilati Secondary School will have, for the first time, representatives in a robotics competition!
Even though the robotics lab is still being set up, we have taken the first concrete steps in preparing 2 teams for the First Lego League 2025, theme "Submerged".
For us, those at the ARTESA Association, the moment has a special meaning: it means moving from the first demonstration workshops and summer camps to participating in a national competition, where children from rural areas can show what they can do when given the right chance.
The children's enthusiasm is contagious – for them, each Lego piece is a small part of a bigger dream: to demonstrate that even from a village, one can compete at the highest level.
Every beginning counts. We don't always wait for everything to be perfect to get started, because sometimes progress means exactly that, building even as you learn.
