The Association of Robotics, Educational Technologies and Applied Sciences "ARTESA" was awarded with GOLD Recognition in Community Index 2025, to the category Digital Transformation in Schools, for the development RuralBots Initiative, master project dedicated to reducing the digital divide in rural areas.

The RuralBots Initiative brings together the experience of the founding members and the lessons learned from the projects carried out in recent years, the Rural Camps during the summer holidays and the programs during the school year, in partnership with Constantin Brancoveanu Vasilati Secondary School, in a coherent and scalable framework, built so that it can be implemented, over time, in any rural community in Romania.

The GOLD Recognition distinction represents for the ARTESA Association not only a reason for joy, but also a responsibility: to take the initiative further, to more schools, more communities and more children who deserve access to technology and modern education.
The RuralBots Initiative continues on its journey, and partners like HP are helping us build a solid foundation for expanding the program in 2026.
Theodor Gorovei, Project Coordinator

An important role in strengthening this initiative is played by the strategic partnership with HP Romania, which contributes to the development of our educational direction in the long term. By involving HP Romania, the project benefits from support in essential areas such as digital transformation, development of educational resources and preparation of the implementation framework for the expansion of the program.

This recognition belongs to the children, teachers, volunteers and the entire community who believe in the power of modern education.

Together, we build a better world!
