We are finishing the first year of robotics at Vasilați
With the end of the 2024-2025 school year and the conclusion of the Robotics and Programming Hub project, we look back with joy and pride at everything that has happened since July 1, 2024 at Constantin Brancoveanu Secondary School.
Since robotics arrived in Vasilați, children have had the opportunity to participate in a whole series of activities designed to develop their curiosity, logical thinking and team spirit:
– Robotics and Programming Summer Camps, in which the children's passion and enthusiasm found a place to express themselves even during the summer holidays;
– Regular workshops throughout the school year, where children built and programmed robots, experimented and tested innovative solutions;
– Participation in national competitions, both FIRST LEGO League, as well as at World Robot Olympiad, where the Vasilați Lions, Vasilați Dolphins and Vasilați Tigers teams had their first competition experiences and achieved remarkable results;
Local presentations, such as the one at Oltenița Science Fair, where children showed the community what they can achieve through educational robotics.
All this time, Robotics Laboratory it became a place where children discovered that learning can be fun and rewarding, and their passion for technology and science can grow day by day.
This year was just the beginning. The children from Vasilați showed that robotics can be an ongoing adventure, and the experiences gained will form the basis of many other future projects and challenges.
