We invite you to watch an interview conducted by AGERPRES, the national news agency, with psychotherapists Andreea Lumpan and Marius Lumpan, dedicated to the LEGO-Based Therapy method and how it is applied in Romania in support contexts for neurodivergent children.

The interview captures the clinical and relational perspective of this method, explaining why LEGO-Based Therapy is not just a play activity, but a structured therapeutic framework, centered on collaboration, communication, and emotional regulation. The approach, originally developed by Daniel B. LeGoff, is used primarily in working with children with autism spectrum disorders, but has broader applications in socio-emotional development.

LEGO-Based Therapy is one of the methods used within the Center of Excellence for Neurodivergent Children project – a project implemented by the ARTESA Association, in cooperation with specialists from the clinical and educational areas. In this framework, educational robotics, LEGO construction and person-centered psychotherapy meet in an integrated model, in which the child remains the author of his or her own learning process.

The interview conducted by AGERPRES brings this experience to the public space and explains, in accessible language, why the relationship, structure and meaning of the activity are as important as the technical result. It is a conversation about children, about meaningful play and about the responsibility of building contexts in which differences do not become barriers, but starting points for development.

Through the projects it implements, the ARTESA Association contributes to reducing gaps and supporting equal opportunities, bringing technology, education and socio-emotional support to places where access is limited.
