The 3 Ways of SVR team will participate in the Robotics for Good Youth Challenge Grand Finale, in Geneva

Between July 7–10, the 3 Ways of SVR team from the robotics club Inventika Place from Bucharest will participate in Robotics for Good Youth Challenge Grand Finale, an international competition that will take place in Geneva, Switzerland, after qualifying at the national stage.
The competition, the most important educational robotics championship organized under the auspices of the UN, has as its theme each year a global challenge in which robots provide innovative and practical solutions to real-world problems.
This year's edition has as its theme robotics solutions for challenges related to food security and agriculture.
For children, such participation means excitement, work, and the joy of moving forward with what they have built, but their qualification also tells another story: one about continuity.
The 3 Ways of SVR team is participating in the Junior category, and its name was not chosen by chance. It brings together two important milestones from these children's recent path in robotics competitions: 3 Ways of Garbage and Smart Vision Robotics 738.
3 Ways of Garbage won the Gold Medal at the Italia Open Championship World Robot Olympiad 2024, in the Future Innovators Elementary category, as well as the Special Award – Most Impactful Solution for the Environment. In 2025, the same direction continued with the 2nd Place at the Slovenia Open Europe World Robot Olympiad, in the Future Innovators Junior category.
Smart Vision Robotics 738 won 2nd Place at the World Robot Olympiad 2025 National Stage, in the Future Innovators Elementary category.
The new name carries forward all these stages. Not only the results, but also the experience gained, the way the children learned to work together, to support their ideas, and to see their projects through to the end.
Participation in the Grand Finale in Geneva does not happen by chance or in an isolated moment. It comes after years in which these children built, tested, presented, competed, and grew from one project to another, sometimes with prizes, sometimes just with good lessons and the desire to move forward.
Robotics for Good Youth Challenge is a different competition in terms of its theme. It's not just about building and programming, but about how robotics can respond to real world problems. And the fact that a team of children gets to represent Romania in such a context says a lot about the seriousness of the work behind them.
For ARTESA, the participation of the 3 Ways of SVR team in Geneva is a reason for joy, but also a confirmation of something that we see more and more clearly from year to year: when children have access to good guidance, real work contexts and trust, they can go very far.
There is still work to be done until July. To adjust, to check, to repeat and to prepare. But one thing is already certain: a team will go to Geneva that carries with it not only a new name, but also the work, the patience and the path built over time.
