Santa Claus came early for children enrolled in the RuralBots Initiative program

Sometimes good things come when you need them the most.
For children enrolled in the RuralBots Initiative, Santa Claus came early this year, in the form of a substantial donation of LEGO pieces, which will arrive in the robotics labs in Vasilați and Mitreni.
For educational robotics, parts are not just building blocks. They are the raw material from which ideas, experiments, prototypes, and sometimes surprising solutions to technical challenges come to life. The more material you have to work with, the further children's imagination can go.
This donation will mean more built projects, more freedom to experiment, and robots that can take shape without the limitations of having the right parts. From models developed for FIRST LEGO League Explore to children's own ideas, they will now have more space to transform from sketches and discussions into real mechanisms.
The donation was made by Economic Informatics Club – CyberKnowledgeClub (CKC), a non-profit organization that functions as a bridge between universities, IT companies, public institutions and non-governmental organizations, and is even the organizer of the FIRST LEGO League Romania competition.
An essential role in this donation was played by Mihai Chiroiu, organizer and MC of the national competition, who concretely facilitated the transfer of these materials to the RuralBots Initiative laboratories.
We thank them for choosing to support children in rural communities, where every educational resource matters more than it seems at first glance.
Together, we build a better world.
